Enjoy a Dream Vacation at this idyllic getaway on the Mexican Riviera. This rental property is available for the most discriminative vacationers. Case de Madre Perla is a fully-equipped vacation home. This villa is elegant, spacious and features 5400 square feet with four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms. It can house up to 8 people total.

This luxury, oceanfront villa, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is located in the most beautiful gated residential community - La Punta, on Peninsula Santiago on the Mexican Riviera. It is just 35 minutes from the International Airport in Manzanillo - a Perfect Relaxing Get-Away!

Bedrooms: The two master bedroom suites include King size beds and scenic views of the Pacific with full jacuzzi bath and shower. The additional two guest bedrooms include full baths. Guest Bedroom #1 houses a King size bed while #2 includes two full size beds and walk in closet.

Other Spaces: A television room with a large couch could also accommodate another traveler and has been used in the past for this purpose. Open living room and dining room. Dining table for eight. Four decks. Internal yard with fountain. Secluded private beach with a large private palapa, 154 steps below the house, just 15 feet from Pacific Ocean. Separate maid quarter.

Amenities: Features throughout the House include AC in every bedroom, fans throughout, multiple phones, TV with satellite channels, VCR, DVD, satellite dish, stereo with CD, table games, wind-surfing board and sail. 2 phone lines including direct line to USA and Canada, fax, and broad –band Internet access. The large, modern kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove & oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker/grinder, blender, toaster oven, pots & pans, and other convenient amenities. The modern laundry is fully-equipped. Infinity swimming pool & a pool for kids connected by circulated water. Day maid included (tips not included). An excellent chef is available for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner ($40-50/day). 9-passenger Chevy Suburban is optional with or without a driver.

Activities (on site or nearby): Hiking, Biking, Tennis (4 lighted courts within walking distance), Fishing, Horseback Riding, Restaurants, Cinemas, Swimming, Sunbathing, Snorkeling & Diving, Boating, Sailing, Water-skiing, Wind-surfing, Para-sailing, Jet-skiing. Two of the best golf courses in Mexico , Las Hadas and El Tamarindo, are located within driving distance.

The Swiecichowskis (and Mollie) just spent a week in heaven. The house was magnificent: the view – spectacular, the constant breeze – restorative, the sound of the surf – soothing, the open layout – engaging, and the master suites – romantic!

However, the best part of the entire vacation was the staff. Enrique was invaluable: translating for us, arranging activities, advising us on what to do and where to go, ---- up some much needed medication for Seth, making last minute tequila runs, and always and constantly friendly, happy and untiring. Alejandra should open her own restaurant – her cooking (with the help of Conce) was the highlight of every day. We never ate out because we knew there was no place in Manzanillo that could have better food. And best of all she made special dishes to satisfy everyone’s taste. She was especially accommodative to the children’s needs, never getting tired of their constant questions and requests.

We would and will recommend this place to everyone. The graciousness of Enrique, Alejandra, Conce and the rest of assistants made this one of the best trips we have ever taken and the reason we will always return!

March 18-25th, 2006

The Skildums and the Holmbergs had a much needed break from the cold and snow of Minnesota. We were amazed by the beautiful sunsets and calming effect of the breeze and waves near the palapa (a great place for a nap!). Our 17 year old girls enjoyed the private beach with the endless sunny days, waves and sand. And could the men get enough golfing? From Los Hadas to the course near Navidad, challenges and memorable holes abounded.

The house was just beautiful, enhanced by our amazing staff. Enrique was so pleasant and accommodating – patient and helpful to our girls as they practiced their Spanish. “Snack time” was filled with Pina Coladas and Margaritas. Alejandra’s Pico de Gallo and guacamole is the best we ever had! We, too, looked forward to every meal – her cooking is outstanding. I’m sure we would have been hard pressed in finding a restaurant that could provide a better meal. Everything made was fresh, healthy and seasoned to perfection. We were so grateful to our caring staff that made our vacation truly a rest from day to day stress.

Have you ever gone to a place and felt you knew what to expect when you arrived? You had been given pictures and words to describe the location or the surroundings and in your mind you felt as though you would be visiting some place already familiar. That was the expectation in our minds prior to our arrival.

We could not have had our expectations exceeded more than they were. How do you describe this “place of refreshment,””, this place of resting and refreshing the spirit? I am not sure it is possible.

Our days were filled with only what we really wanted to do and nothing more. Some would read, swim, lounge in the sun, while others would grab a boogie board and head to the beach, returning with a giggle and a tan that became more brown with each adventure. Golf in Las Hadas was a challenge and 18th hole very memorable.

The staff here at the house could not have been more gracious and made every effort to meet any need, but were quietly behind the scenes working there magic. Had we known, we would have had more of our meals here at the house and fewer of them out and about. Having Vonage to keep in touch with our loved ones back home was a blessing and a gift, especially on Mother’s Day.

Thank you seems hardly enough to say at this point. Though it maybe difficult to pack our bags and head back to what we define as “real life,” I’m not so sure that this time here has not been what life is truly about: family, friendship, relaxing, taking in the beauty of creation around us, reflecting on the goodness and blessing we have and never forgetting that today is a “gift” and that is why it is called “the present”.

The memories will remain of a precious time with each other in a far away land at a fantasy castle perched above the ocean.
