Provence Villa: Ste Croix

This bright and spacious Provence holiday villa sleeps up to seven people (including three children) in four bedrooms on enclosed grounds in a very peaceful setting, close to a public-access forest. This villa is 900m from local shops in Venelles and 12km north of Aix en Provence.

The living-dining area has electric heating and fireplace (woodburner), TV with Canal+, video recorder, hi-fi, table, eight chairs, large leather sofa and cosy fireplace corner below the stairs with four seating places. A children's table football game is also available.

The kitchen of this Provence villa has tiled flooring, dishwasher and all you need for full self-catering. A washing machine and fridge-freezer can be found in the cellar.

There are two terraces on this Provence holiday villa. The first terrace is equipped with a stone barbecue, coffee table, chairs, sun loungers and children's table football game. The second, smaller terrace is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun lounger. Finally, an 8 x 4m, keyhole-shaped pool completes the set-up.

This Provence holiday villa is situated in the quiet village of Venelles, 12 km north of Aix-en-Provence, with motorway access to the Luberon region.

The Aixois countryside is archetypal Provence. Walking in the area is unbeatable and other facilities golf, tennis and horse riding. This is the heart of Cezánne country, and you'll quickly see where the inspiration came from for his impressionist masterworks with their vivid hues. 

Charming, elegant Aix en Provence, the capital of the region, has a host of cultural attractions and memorable shopping, bars and restaurants. Go at least once to its famous outdoor markets, which are held on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays. Museums you should visit include the outstanding Musée Granet and Cezanne's old studio.
