About prague Accommodation

Staying in Prague apartments for your must-visit to Prague is one of your accommodation vacation options in central Prague. Instead of apartments in Prague, you could go for a central Prague hotel. See below for a good introduction to the Prague areas:

Stare Mesto means Old Town in Czech. Here you'll find Prague's Old Town Square with the famous Astronomical Clock, wonder of the late medieval engineering. This is also Prague's center for going-out and shopping.

Prague's Nove Mesto [ or New Town ] was created during the reign of Charles IV, when the city became the centre of The Holy Roman Empire, and the Old Town could no longer manage to absorb the stream of newcomers. If you're into architecture you'll find the mixture of gothic and art nouveau in this district truly fascinating. The northerly areas of this Prague district are within walking distance of the Old Town, which means that you are close to all the nightlife and shopping hub.

South-east of Prague's centre, Vinohrady offer classy, up-and-coming residential streets. There are many beautiful buildings in Vinohrady and the crowds are much thinner, it is also well connected to the center of Prague. During the reign of Charles IV, this hill was covered with vineyards – hence the name.

Mala Strana means little town and is situated between the park and the river Vatva in Prague. This area of Prague is only a quick stroll across Charles Bridge and from all the entertainments of Old Town.
