Kamala Beach is a small, relatively undeveloped community with a Thai fishing village atmosphere. There are several fine dining options and many excellent seafood restaurants, most serving International and Thai food. The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant at the FantaSea park serves a range of Royal Thai dishes and calls itself the world's largest buffet, with 4,000 seats. One of the top-rated seafood restaurants is the Charoen Seafood Restaurant, located a few steps from the beach, where diners enjoy mussels and red snapper freshly caught that morning.
