Restaurants in Kamala Beach are many and varied, including many open-air vendor stalls on the beach, where you can sample spicy Thai salad, Thai curry, and chicken satay. There are several fine dining options and many excellent seafood restaurants, most serving International and Thai food. The Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant at the FantaSea park serves a range of Royal Thai dishes and calls itself the world's largest buffet, with 4,000 seats. One of the top-rated seafood restaurants is the Charoen Seafood Restaurant, located a few steps from the beach, where diners enjoy mussels and red snapper freshly caught that morning. Holiday villas in Phuket are an excellent accommodation alternative, and staying in one of the Kamala Beach apartments will give you the experience of living right on the beach in a sleepy little fishing town. |
