Phuket is unquestionably one of the world's most beautiful resort islands, with its lush green hills, palm fringed beaches of fine white sand, and the warm blue waters of the magnificent Andaman Sea. The entire west coat of Phuket is strung like a perfect necklace of superb coral-fringed beaches, of which Karon is especially enchanting. Phuket is a tropical destination with all year around temperatures between 25-35 degrees Celsius. Phuket has two monsoon periods with some beautiful rain fall, usually not more than 1 hour duration. The first is at the end of April and the beginning of May. The second is in October. The dry season is generally from December until mid April with very few showers and usually a clear blue sky.
