Vacation Rental Description

The Trafalgar Reteat is a huge 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, self-catering, executive, holiday house in a the quiet, beachside suburb of Ocean Reef, on the Sunset Coast. You can walk to the safe swimming beach at Mullaloo or to the Ocean Reef Boat Harbour, where you can swim, fish, or just watch the boats. The Joondalup Country Club and Golf Course is a 5 minute drive from here and a small shopping centre, with restaurants, pharmacy, and supermarket are located just around the corner.

If this house is too large for you, it can be divided into the Nelson Lodge and the Bermuda Suite. Check the floor plan for details.

Perth city centre is a 25 minute drive, and there is a train station a 5 minute drive away.

The house is totally self contained, with bed linen and towels and a fully equiped kitchen.

There is also a lockable garage for 2 cars, at no extra charge.

This holiday house has two queen size beds in two master bedrooms, 2 single beds in the third bedroom, and a double bed with a single bunk above in the fourth bedroom, providing generous accommodation for 10 adults and a cot.

About Perth Perth Coast

All the beds have a doonna with fresh cotton covers that are washed after every guest stay. The house has a laundry with washing machine.

A large patio looks down over the proposed pool and garden area. An ideal spot for a pre-dinner drink. (Note, the pool has been ordered and is expected to be installed by August 2007 - please check with us when booking for a status report).

It is a 4 minute walk to a small shopping centre with Petrol stations, hairdressing salons, bakeries, Chinese restaurants, newsagents, medical centres and pharmacy. A bus stops just around the corner.

Beachfront cycle paths and walkways meander for 22 kilometres alongside the beach and past the boat ramps towards Hillary’s, Scarborough and Fremantle. Hire a bike to explore for a day. At dusk see the kangaroos hiding the bush along the paths. Take a picnic or bar-be-que to one of the many parks along the coast. Most of the parks have free gas bar-be-ques, with sheltered tables and seating.

Swim in the safe beaches and coves, or take the surf board to the beaches with a swell.

From Ocean Reef drive down the coast road to Scarborough & Cottesloe, through Mullaloo, Kallaroo, Hillarys, Sorrento, North Beach, and Marmion. See the fish by snorkelling along the Marmion Marine Park at North Beach or Mettams Pool. A 5 minute drive to Joondalup Golf Course.

This is an ideal holiday apartment, or as a base for those relocating to Perth. The local primary school is a 5 minute walk and the High School is 20 minutes walk.
