Vacation Rental Description

The Nelson Lodge is a large, 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, self-catering, holiday house in a the quiet, beachside suburb of Ocean Reef, on the Sunset Coast, WA. 1 bedroom, is in an open lounge area. The house is adjoined to the Bermuda Suite and can make up part of the Trafalgar Retreat when internal doors are unlocked.  The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the house, so is the Ocean Reef Boat Harbour. The Joondalup Country Club and Golf Course is a 5 minute drive from here.

The house is totally self contained with all linen, towels and a fully equiped kitchen. A fully fenced swimming pool has been installed in the garden, which is shared with the Bermuda Suite.

The house also offers an under-cover, secure car park, for 1 car, at no extra charge.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds in the third bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk above, providing generous accommodation for 7 adults and a cot. 2 bed settees are also available for extra guests. All the beds have a doonna with fresh cotton covers that are washed after every guest stay.

The kitchen incorporates its own mini-laundry complete with a washing machine.

A large patio, with sea views, looks down over the garden area. An ideal spot for a pre-dinner drink.

About Perth Perth Coast

The city centre is a 25 minute drive, and there is a train station a 5 minute drive away.  The local shopping centre is a 3 minute walk with Petrol stations, hairdressing salons, bakeries, Chinese restaurants, newsagents, medical centres and pharmacie, and a bus stops just around the corner.

Beachfront cycle paths and walkways meander for 22 kilometres alongside the beach and past the boat ramps towards Hillary’s, Scarborough and Fremantle. Hire a bike to explore for a day. At dusk see the kangaroos hiding the bush along the paths. Take a picnic or bar-be-que to one of the many parks along the coast. Most of the parks have free gas bar-be-ques, with sheltered tables and seating.

Swim in the safe beaches and coves, or take the surf board to the beaches with a swell.
