Lovely 30m2 one-room Paris holiday apartment is totally renovated and fully-equipped with sheets and linen. Centrally located, in one of the most beautiful Haussmanian buildings of the 8th district, the holiday apartment is very safe with a concierge and a security code system to have access to the floors.

Being very bright, sunny and quiet, the main room includes a TV set, a sofa bed for one plus a double bed. Plenty of space to put away your belongings is provided and the fully-equipped kitchen features new appliances. The bathroom includes shower and a washing-machine.

This 8th district Paris holiday apartment is close to nearly all the most well-known places in Paris: 10 to 15 minutes’ walk to Champs-Elysées or to Concorde Square and on to River Seine and Tuileries Gardens. It will take you the same amount of time to reach the main department stores (Lafayette and Printemps) or the Opera House (Palais Garnier).

It will also take you 10 to 15 minutes to reach rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré where you will find the most exclusive designer’s shops (Hermes, Prada, Tod’s…) and antique’s shops as well as auctioneers (Sotherby’s and Christie’s). And just 5 minutes away is the Madeleine Church or the President of the Republic residence (Palais de l’Elysée). In just about half an hour you can walk to the Louvre museum. Close-by are 2 concert halls, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and bars.

This Paris apartment is also very well located as far as public transport is concerned (metros, RER and buses) and it is close to the Shuttle Terminals that take you to the main airports (Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly). Directly by metro you can reach the stations of Lyon and Bercy. Around this holiday apartment there are shops to buy whatever you may need during your stay and a supermarket is open at 2 minutes’ walk on Sundays.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Madeleine Velvet. The location was excellent in terms of proximity to Metro stations,shops, restaurants etc. The apartment was small but clean, safe & secure & adequately eqipped. Access to a washing machine was great, however there was no dryer so we had to be creative to get our clothes dry. The whole booking process, communications & reception upon arrival through Holiday Velvet were most welcoming, friendly, convenient & reassuring.

Smashing location, near all tourist landmarks and good local facilities. the apartment was perfect, in a lovely building, very clean and well equipped and reasonably priced. The agent was very helpful. Sadly the cable tv wasn't working, so disappointed there. One slight problem was that there was no extra lock or chain on the door, we felt the apartment could have been more secure. Thank you

Cancellation Policy

Deposit Payment: The deposit amount as stated on your voucher is non-refundable.

Within 30 days: In case of cancellation thirty days or less before the arrival, the Client owes the full amount of the rent.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.

If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.

Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

Requesting an apartment or date change from that of your confirmed booking is considered as a de facto cancellation. To change an apartment or date; you must make a new booking. This is regarded as a new booking and is subject to our terms and conditions.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that you subscribe to a travel insurance with our partner or with the insurance company of your choice.
