Welcome to your pied-à-terre in Paris. Stay at one of the most exclusive places in the City of Light. In Ile Saint Louis you can feel as though you are in a small village whilst being in the very heart of Paris. Baudelaire, Camille Claudel, George Pompidou are amongst those who have chosen this island as their home. You will understand why. Neighbour to the bigger and busier Ile de la Cité where Notre Dame Cathedral, La Conciergerie, L’Hotel Dieu are situated; Ile Saint Louis named after the King Louis XIII, has smaller but no less impressive architectural monuments, like the Church Saint Louis, where you can listen to classical concerts in its amazing acoustics and enjoy the rehearsal on Thursday’s afternoon for free.

The studio is situated between two traditional restaurants: Nos Ancêtres les Gaulois and La Taverne du Sergent Recruteur. Home to the delicious brand of ice creams Berthillon the island is usually forgotten by most tourists. Very discrete it doesn’t even have a metro station but there is one close by. From the Pont Marie, you can reach the nearest metro station with the same name. This takes you directly to the heart of the Marais another restless place where you can shop, eat, and drink in most hours of the day and night. Don’t bypass the Places (Square) des Vosges where you can appreciate the architecture of the XVIII century where Victor Hugo and other personalities lived.

The Pont Sully crosses the tip of the island, where there is an easy access to the Bastille, with a gas station and a bus stop towards the Opéra, cafes or famous brasseries all around the Place de la Bastille. Otherwise, towards southwest you can arrive at the Institute of the Arab World with its amazing architecture and a little further up the Universities and along the Quai de la Tournelle you will find Jardin des Plantes and the Natural History Museum
