This non-smoking apartment rental has a surface of 18 m2 and has queen size bed in the main room. The full kitchen has a two-unit electric cook top, an oven-grill-microwave combination, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, an electric coffee pot and a small dining table. The full bathroom features a large shower/bath and a washing machine. Linen, cookware and kitchen utensils are all provided. Also included is a free cleaning service once per week. Utilities and taxes are included in the rate.

 My boyfriend and I stayed here for New Years Eve 2008/9 and were very pleased with our choice of area and accommodation. The flat is ideally located on a nice street with lots of little coffee shops and bars (though noise wasn't a problem) and within walking distance of good transport links, the river, the latin quarter and all that La Marais has to offer. The apartment is very small, but compact with best use of space. It wouldn't suit a couple wanting to stay more than five days. It was very comfortable, we had everything we needed and the shower was good. It was winter when we stayed but the room was warm. My only criticism is that we weren't given instructions on how to use the equipment (the TV/DVD player, microwave/oven) and we couldn't get the television to work, not that you need it in Paris! But Holiday Velvet provided a very good service, and I would definitely stay in the Cosy Marais again. e doherty (04-06-2009) |
