This 30 sqm holiday apartment in Paris is located on the 5th floor with elevator of a nineteenth-century stone building in a quiet street in the centre of Paris. The apartment comes with a long balcony that runs the length of the apartment from which you can admire the view across the Musée des Arts et Métiers to the Sacré Coeur at Montmartre.

The apartment has been recently renovated and decorated in a very contemporary style. It is bright and spacious with modern fittings and polished wooden floors. The lounge room has two French windows opening onto the balcony, a leather sofa bed (sleeps 2 people), a coffee table, bookshelves and a lamp. For entertainment and communications there are a wall-mounted flat screen cable TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, a high speed Internet connection (WIFI) and a telephone.

The modern kitchenette is separated from the lounge by a bar with two stools, ideal for snacks. Fully equipped, there is an oven/microwave, 2 hotplates, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric kettle and toaster. The bedroom is also bright with a French window opening onto the balcony. There is a queen size bed (W 160cm) with built-in bedside and wardrobes. Exterior blinds on the windows afford a comfortable night’s sleep. A sliding door leads to the bathroom which has a spacious shower and modern washbasin on a wooden bench top.

The holiday apartment in Paris is located in a quiet street in the north of the Marais, next to the Musée des Arts et Métiers. There are several metro stations giving easy access to all the tourist spots of Paris. The famous Pompidou Centre with its wonderful modern art collection is 5 minutes walk and the lively Marché des Enfants Rouges close by.

The area has a strong local character with many cafés and restaurants that give it plenty of charm. You can stroll or sit in the peaceful Square du Temple in the daytime, eat in one of the numerous Chinese restaurants in the rue des Gravilliers in the evening and for lovers of nightlife, famous Parisian night clubs are found in the rue du Bourg de l’Abbé and the rue aux Ours.

All the museums of the Marais are all within 10 minutes walk: Musée Picasso, Musée Cognacq-Jay, Musée Carnavalet, Maison de Victor Hugo.
