This lovely “cottage” under the Parisian rooftops comprises 70 square meters, (though around 50m2 livable because of slanting roof) sleeps 4 people. This holiday rental apartment has 2-bedrooms, one bath and is located on the 4th French floor of an 18th-century building/town manor house.

This paris accomodation's cosy charm derives from the open-beamed ceilings as well as heavy terra-cotta tile flooring. The sober 18th-century walk-up building breaths history and old-world charm. Having belonged to a noble French family, the building retains discreet elegance, with a wooded cobblestone courtyard and 18th century winding staircase. The building is safe, being equipped with a security code and concierge.

The 20m2 living room is a cottage flooded with light. The room is comfortably furnished with a large dining table capable of seating 4 to 6 comfortably and has a nice sofa bed for one person. The 6 livable square meter, eat-in kitchen is fully equipped yet furnished with this atypical cottage touch. The 10m2 master bedroom is flooded with light, yet no noise reaches the 4th floor, allowing for a perfectly good night’s sleep. It is furnished with a double bed while the second bedroom (6m2) has one single bed. The other single The last The 7m2 bathroom has a bathtub and a double sink.

About Paris Marais

This holiday rental apartment could not be in a better position in the Marais Paris. You will discover the Marais itself, home to the French nobility from the pre-renaissance to the post-renaissance, and therefore a walking museum of architectural history. Considered as a district for artists and "hype"people, the Marais is nonetheless one of the most ancient districts in Paris: buildings date for the most part from the 17th and 18th centuries and are magnificently restored. It is even the spirit of Paris itself that reigns here, with lots of fire and life, cafés and galleries.

This area is the center and the oldest part of Paris, and contains many of its museums, and historic sites, including the Place des Vosges, as well as being just next door to the Centre Georges Pompidou, Place de l’hôtel de Ville, Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, and the Place de la République. Within 10 minutes walking distance to the South, you are in Saint Germain - Saint Michel, located on the left bank of the Seine river.

For those not familiar with the Marais, it is important to point out how safe the area is, near hospitals, police and with many resident doctors, as well as pharmacies on every corner.
