Important Information

Loved the apartment! It included absolutely everything we needed and some with lots of those little things there in case you needed them. The location was perfect - close to the Metro and the panorama was lovely. Looking out on the Notre Dame Cathedral every morning and night was just magic. Spoilt for choice of restaurants - loved every one of them. The balcony was a boon and being able to sit outside with a wine (or 6) soaking up the atmosphere was also magic. We also made friends with some pigeons who would visit every morning and night for some bread. The information folder was very helpful and contained all the necessary numbers we needed. Thank you so much - we will return to the apartment the next time we visit Paris and will recommend it to friends
The Notre Dame Terrace apartment is fabulous! It is a cozy two-level apartment, the bedroom and bathroom with bathtub are on the lower level, with a door that closes, and a spiral staircase that goes up to the living room, where you have an amazing postcard-picture perfect view of the Notre Dame Cathedral. The kitchen area is small, but everything you need to cook with is there, and the walls and cabinets are brightly and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the guide books to Paris on the shelves in the apartment. Three of us stayed in the apartment, but it is really meant for two people. The fold out couch in the living room and was not completely comfortable, but the view of ND more than compensated for this discomfort. There is actually also a second toilet where the laundry room is, which is a plus. The bathroom is beautiful but the plumbing of the bathtub was very slow. Even though my description of the layout of the apartment sounds awkward, but I actually really loved being in such a central location, near amazing bookstores, restaurants and sights, and would definitely stay again.
This is a really delightful property, shipshape and with a place for everything and everything in its place, but decorated with imagination (but not too much!) and with comfort in mind. We were especially grateful for the terrace with view of Notre Dame, the big comfortable bed, the completely equipped kitchen and the separate toilet for any third party or other guests. Having the washer and dryer was also a boon. As Americans, we would only note (and I did make a note on the washer/dryer directions for later guests) that emptying the condensed water from the special container in the dryer is absolutely necessary as there is no vent, as would be the case here. The neighborhood is touristy but you are far above that and the windows are pretty soundproof. The advantage is a great range of restaurants and being at the heart of the Left Bank. This is not an apartment for children or for people who want to eat in most of the time. Thank you for providing a memorable Paris stay.

The location was fabulous with a view of Notre Dame over the Seine. Our contact, Maeva, was delightful and very responsive. The apartment is petit but very well appointed. The terrace was a bonus and because of terrific weather was well used, even though exposed to noisy traffic. Pricy but we were satisfied. A shock to learn that the elevator to the 6th floor was inoperable due to scheduled maintenance; the spiral, frequently unlighted central stairway was a challenge - bring a flashlight.

This apartment was a perfect fit for our recent holiday in Paris. The location is perfect for seeing all the sites of the old city. The neighborhood is a bit touristy and noisy at night, but walk a couple of blocks in any direction and you are in the heart of Paris. We absolutely loved the balcony! It was perfect for an evening glass of wine. The amenities made our stay very comfortable. When we return to Paris, we will seek it out again.

The apartment in Paris with the best view! A gem! support by contact in Paris excellent. Polite and helpful Close to all amenities and transport faciltiies would return tomorrow without a doubt and would happily recommend apartment and company to friends. Problems with service provided for transfer (elysee cars) - they arrived at apartment to pick us up when they should have been at airport! Would have been helpful to now know that apartment was on direct RER line into Paris as would have got train instead. Thanks for great service and support

This is just to say that all is well--Paris et l'appartement sont tellement comfortable et convenable et nous remercions Holiday Velvet milles fois! Axelle met us at the appointed time and gave us the tour. Since then we have been marveling at the view and the comprehensive way that Amalia has arranged this little apartment to have everything needed and not a thing more for guests. It's quite like being on a ship. In fact, looking out from the living room directly on Notre Dame is like being on the prow thereof. Please convey our thanks to the owner as well.
