Located rue de Seine in the 6th district, this Paris accommodation rental for short term stays is a charming and cozy 40 square meters studio apartment, on the 6th French floor via elevator of 19th century building and it sleeps 3 people. Please note that you will have to climb a couple of stairs to reach the elevator, which will only you to the 5th floor from where a staircase will take you to the 6th floor.

The accommodation is equipped with : washer, dishwasher, terrace, unlimited high speed internet access, phone, cable, TV, Dvd. Everything you need to feel at home this apartment.

The 20 square meters living room is furnished with : double sofa bed, coffee table, 2 armchairs, phone, cable, TV, DVD, built-in wall closet, hard wooden floor. the kitchen area is equipped with all kitchen utensils and dining table for 4 people, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer, coffee maker, and kettle.

The bedroom comes with a king size bed, the bathroom with a shower. A bedroom, separated from the main room but not closed off, has a double bed.

In the heart of the 6th arrondissement, this neighborhood is famous for having the highest concentration of art dealers and antiques galeries. On the banks of the Seine, the bouquinistes sell vintage miscellania and antique books from green wooden boxes. Saint-Germain is also one of Paris’s top fashion shopping areas. It is situated in the 5th and 6th arrondissement of paris. Many shops and stores are close to the apartment : Bakery, Butchery, Supermarket, Open air market, Theater, Restaurant, Cafe, Club, ...

Important Information

The location was perfect, the cleanliness of the property was perfect, the property was also perfect. What needs to be addressed is the level of service! My husband and I showed up in front of the building on the rue de Seine at the exact time that we stated in our email. We waited 15 minutes, and wondered if anyone was going to be meeting us to let us in. A couple of people came to enter the building, so my husband slipped in with them (leaving me on the street with our suitcases), and through process of elimination (we knew the property was the penthouse) he went to the top floor and knocked on the door. Two people were in the flat, waiting for us, but how they expected us to enter the building, etc. without their help was beyond us. Secondly, although I was originally asked through emails WHEN I would like to depart from the property, that seemed to have gone by the wayside as we were told we MUST vacate on our leaving date at 10 am! The two people asked for our "voucher," and I showed them the only emails I had received from H-V, but they said that wasn't the "voucher," but they would look into it later. Then they asked me for 20 euros for a utilities fee, but I showed them the "voucher" I had, and it stated that I had already paid the fee, so they accepted it. The rest of our stay went smoothly, except, (1) in the shower was an all but used-up bar of soap (very shabby), and (2) we NEVER could find the hairdryer until the maid came on the morning of our departure and showed us it was in a mirrored cabinet in the bathroom. Something, she said, always seemed a secret to most tenants! Lastly, although the maid was very nice and apologetic, on our departure day, she arrived to drop off the linens at 8:50am, stating she was early because the next tenants would be arriving any minute. We told her she would have to come back at 10 am as we were not ready to depart. She arrived back at 10 am, and stood waiting for us to leave, telling us the next tenants were downstairs. We left, but saw nobody downstairs. We found this situation all very unpleasant, especially after the amount of money we had paid to stay there. We carefully adhered to the rules, but found the other side to bend them at will.

This is a great flat in a great location but the start of our stay was marred by the fact that despite giving full details of our arrival time the flat manager had no idea, was not there and we wasted time waiting for someone to arrive and let us in.All very clean, great service from proxy manager, We loved the roof terrace and everything else about the apt except the halogen hob which is very difficult to use.

This apartment was ideal, good location, clean and all amenities. Our reception was excellent, the owner was very helpful and gave us some good tips. The area is good for accessing most of Paris on the whole was a great time.Kirk Family.

The appartment is adorable and everything is perfectly clean and well placed according to the space. The little terrace makes the difference and is such a luxury to have in Paris. The neighborhood is full of life and you can walk to everywhere so you can enjoy Paris even more. I had a fantastic stay with my familly. I highly recommend it.

The apartment was wonderful. We were there with our two children, there was room for our play pen. We were also surprise that there was a playpen there. The layout allows the bed area to stay dark while you use the rest of the apartment (important when trying to put kids to bed). The terrace was wonderful and romantic after the kids were asleep we enjoyed the views. The location of the apartment is incredible, we barely used the metro as were able to walk to: the Louvre, Pantheon, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, countless gardens etc. Nothing was too far for us.

The apartment was in a fantastic area, We were able to submerse into the local culture with its great bars, shopping, restaurants & locality to tourist attractions. The apartment was modern & cosy with everything needed for a great stay. Thank-you.
