Vacation Rental Description

This accommodation in New York is located just two blocks from Times Square in the trendy Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan.

Situated on West 46th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues, the apartment is on the 5th (US standard) floor in a small walk-up building. Please note that there is no elevator, but the views are worth it!

The New York apartment is beautifully decorated - it's a real home, not a business! I have many souvenirs from world travel and hundreds of books for you to read...if you are not too busy seeing the sights and shopping.

The views out every window are spectacular! All of midtown rises up to the east and as the area is all low buildings, you have an unobstructed view! This is a REAL NYC apartment.

Inside, you have a large living/dining area (seating for 4) and an open 'pass-thru' kitchen. The kitchen has practically every tool you will need to cook (Amateur Chef here!) and all the basic appliances (there is no dishwasher or washer/dryer).

The bedroom has a wonderfully comfy pillow top mattress on the queen size bed, down pillows and down duvet. For extra guests, there is an inflatable double size bed which is very comfortable and the 6ft long (1.8m) sofa is great for napping!

The bathroom has a wide array of shampoo/soap products and even extra razors, tooth brushes and deodorant! Also in the bathroom are large, luxurious bath sheets, not just standard towels.

About New York Theater District

In spite of the name Hell's Kitchen, this is a clean, safe, real NY neighborhood of tree-lined streets, small brownstown buildings and a rich history.

Once known as the 'food street,' 9th Avenue is filled with restaurants and bars of every kind. Withing one block of my home is over 35 restaurants - starting with the famous 'Restaurant Row' (W. 46th St between 8th and 9th Avenues).

It is a 1-2 block walk to most of the Broadway theatres and 10 minutes to nearly every subway line in the city.

All of midtown Manhattan is easy!
