This very cosy New York apartment is conveniently located in Flatiron district, 2 blocks from Madison Avenue and 20 minutes walk to Greenwhich village. Located on the 2nd floor of a typical building (no elevator) this apartment in New York is a rare find.

This New York apartment can sleep 5 people: one bedroom comes with a queen bed (160 x 200 cm), the other with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a single bed can be put in the living room for a 5th guest. There is 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet and sink inside one of the bedrooms.

The living room of this apartment in New York has a fireplace, flat screen TV with cable channels, DVD player and a dining area.

A kitchenette area is located just off the living room, it comes with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge and all the utensils you need to cook at home.

Strategically bordered by the Union Square, Midtown and Chelsea neighborhoods the Flatiron district is a bustling area in Manhattan and offered referred to as "Midtown South". With over seven different metro lines the Flatiron District is easily accessible from any part of town. This popular neighborhood features trendy restaurants and boutiques, and is also home to historic Madison Square Park with its beautiful gardens.

Great position and a very comfortable, clean apartment. The owner and her nephew were very helpful and staying in this apartment really made our holiday in New York very easy.Would highly recommend this apartment.

The facilities, equipment, location and cleanliness were excellent. The apartment was tastefuly presented and well-prepared for our arrival with cupboards well-stocked with basics and essentials. The apartment had a nice feel although the claim that it is suitable for 5 was a little inaccurate: there are two good beds in two very small bedrooms for couples but attempting to accommodate the two of us and our two late-teenage/early twenties different sex children was difficult: the air con worked well in the bedrooms (although it was noisy) but the blow-up bed in the living area was in a very warm, airless space during the hot August/September nights. Nonetheless, we did enjoy our stay and for four or fewer of the right guests one could imagine this apartment providing an enjoyable though definitely "cosy" experience.

We stayed in the apartment for 10 days in April 2011. This apartment is just great. I mean great value for money, great location and great neighborhood. I can recommend it to anyone and will, if it’s possible, book it myself the next time I visit NYC. If you want to live like a New Yorker this is just the place. In the neighborhood there are a lot of different places to eat. The local pub, The Hairy Monk, is the perfect place to end your day.The apartment is very well equipped we didn’t miss a thing. The cleaner had done a great job so it was just perfect. Noreen who was the local representative phoned us a couple of days before arrival to make sure that everything was under control. She was very helpful and nice.So if you want to have a good place to stay in when you’re in New York this is just the place.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, your booking deposit is non refundable.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for 100% of the total rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
