This lovely 1-bedroom apartment rental in New York which is situated on the 5th floor of a 5-story elevator building, features three separate sleeping areas: a double-bed in the bedroom, a queen-size bed in the loft, and a double-size foldout sofa.
Our gem of an apartment is quiet with no upstairs neighbours and bedroom windows that face building courtyards. Quiet, clean, and central, our apartment will be a perfect home base for your Manhattan visit.
Its central location and very nearby proximity to many subway stations equals convenience and fun. Lovely artwork, guidebooks, stunning marble bath, 3 separate sleeping areas and a stocked kitchen make our apartment the premium choice.
21st Street between Park Avenue and Broadway: The Lovely Gramercy/Flatiron Neighborhood.
Our apartment is only 2 blocks from 2 major subways (6/N/R), 4 blocks to Union Square, and 2 blocks from a 24-hour grocery store.
The Gramercy/Flatiron neighbourhood boasts fine restaurants, stunning architecture, incredible lower-5th Avenue luxury shopping, the Union Square Farmer's Market, Whole Foods, and many unique boutiques, lounges and restaurants. The elegant Gramercy Park and Flatiron Building are a mere 2 blocks away.
Its clean streets stretch from 20th Street until the start of Murray Hill at 34th Street, and are bordered by the East River and Park Avenue to the west.
The townhouses around the park, built before the Civil War, are among the oldest and most outstanding in the city, and many tend to be handed down through the generations.
The Flatiron District is bounded on the north by the triangular Flatiron building (built in 1902, at the corner of 23rd Street), goes south to 15th Street, extends as far east as Park Avenue South and west to Sixth Avenue.
Union Square sits on the southern boundary of the Flatiron neighborhood. At the time it was built, the Flatiron building was New York City's first skyscraper, and thought not only to be the tallest building in the world, but also the first skyscraper ever created.
Today the neighborhood is booming with abundant restaurants, shopping, and convenience.
