This accommodation in the south of Mexico City, built in modern Mexican in Style, bright with artisan tiles from Guadalajara  and the bathroom provides an amazing shower, chandelier, a mix of boroque and modernism. The kitchen is equipped with all you need for a short stay for Mexican and international cuisine.   Our guests tend to return now every year, as they enjoy the neighborhood and the warm friendly but respectful atmosphere of privacy. 

This Mexico appartment is situated in the quiet artist neighborhood of Coyoacan, tree lined streets cafes and a park near by where you can run, meditate or join a tai chi class. The house backs on to the garden of the famous casa Azul of Frida Khalo's in the opposite street, but in our street there are no coaches nor tourists just the Jacaranda blooms and the buganvilia plants and cacti.

With a terrace spiral staircase to roof terrace and view of Coyoacan the studio is brigh suny and well located. Within 3 blocks is the famous Coyoacan market. Shops and restaurants and bars all within walking distance. This is a safe neighborhood. 

The appartment is constantly being updated, touched up after each visitor, December 2008 had a new kitchen installed. There is maid service, launderette and supportive people if you need information and quiet and privacy. We also lend out  a cell phone when necessary and guides etc. to the city...  This is our third year. 

1. Coyoacan is in the south of the city.. an area of artists and writers and intellectuals, its park and cafes filled with life without the intensity of down town. Coyoacan used to be a vacational neighborhood where people had their weekend homes, today it has been absorbed into the city, yet still retains that small town charm. Within 15 minutes of the University  UNAM,  San Angel and the road to Cuenavaca... in the area are language schools and yoga schools. Massage and other holistic centers.
