Vacation Rental Description

The apartment measures 45 square meters, 1 bedroom, 1 open space with kitchen dining room and sitting room, 1 bathroom.

The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary to eat and cook, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, microwaves, oven... There is a table with 4 chairs and 1 bed-sofa ,  32 " ultra thin television, DVD, satellite TV, selection of CDs and DVDs…The bathroom is complete of a water closet, a washbasin and a big hydro massage shower.

The general style of the apartment will be characterized by a mixture of modern and traditional... It has the wood beams of the original structure of the building at the sight, the beautiful handicraft floor comes from Morocco, and there are two very big windows on Travesia de los Cabestreros side and other two on the patio.  The building is a typical construction of 1864 of the Madrid’s historic centre, it has 2 patios inside...

About Madrid Other

The area is fantastic! It is in the small street Travesia de los Cabestreros parallel to C/ Embajadores (at the height of number 46... so you can easily locate it in a Madrid map). On the left of C/ Emabajdores starts El Rastro area where the Sunday market takes place, since this same side you arrive at Porte of Toledo, Latina (the zone of best the restaurants and bars), the church San Francisco el Grande until arriving at the royal Palate, Almudena cathedral and the Opera theatre.

While taking the same direction of C/Embajadores in a very pleasant walk can arrive in a few minutes to Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, with the district of Austrias with the convents, the churches, the noble buildings, until Gran Vía... On the right of the apartment  begins the most alternative, bohemian  and multicultural Madrid’s area: Lavapiés... where there are art galleries, theatres, arts centre, restaurants of each corner of the world, regional taverns, tapas bars, best flamenco bars, cinemas, small stores open at every hours, theatres, important institution like the Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum, La Casa Encendida, La Filmoteca Española, the Cervantes Institute, The Dramatic Art National Theatre...  arriving to Atocha station, Prado and Thyssen-Bornemiza museums, El Retiro park…

It is the most international and "traditional" zone of Madrid at the same time! A mixture of people and cultures very strange and interesting! In same C/Emabajores can find all that you can need... much small stores, a market, a very pretty theatre (Pavón), a small park, a church baroque with an invaluable frontage, several small places, tapas bars, a parking... Just few meters from the apartment you have different metro stations Lavapies and on another direction Embajadores with two different lines, Cercanias trains, buses and taxis.
