Old World charm in the heart of historic central Lisbon; The apartment itself is definitely recommendable. This comfortable and spacious XIXth Century 1st floor flat preserves its historic features and romantic flair, but combines them with modern amenities such as double glazing, adsl internet connection and phone, and microwave. It is decorated with a mix of traditional old Portuguese furniture, modern design, and African and Oriental touches. It is ideal for 2 persons, but a single bed offers room for a 3rd person.

About Lisbon Old Town

The flat is located in Bairro da Bica a very central neighbourhood tucked between the chic Chiado shopping area, the nightlife and restaurants of Bairro Alto, and the beautiful views of the river from the lazy terrace cafés of Santa Catarina. Subway and train lines are within 5mins walking distance, and the 28 tram line to the Castle is just up the street. Originally dating from the XVIth Century, Bica preserves its historic architecture, popular character and strong neighbourhood relations, with small restaurants, shops and grocers, whilst being a magnet for gentrification, attracting fashionable hairstylists and being a centre of hip nightlife. Bica is also famous for its funicular tram (“Elevador da Bica”) a landmark on its main street.

No refund of booking deposit after that period.
No refund for last minute bookings (bookings made within 2 weeks of arrival) we refund 50% of booking deposit.
Minimum stay - 3 nights (for lesser 40% surcharge applied).
30% DISCOUNT - Stays longer 4 weeks
