This is a XIX century flat, that was recently refurbished in the most contemporary architectural style. The combination of such modernity with the antique building feature gives him a very stylish character. The back 11m2 balcony is a comfortable rarity for any stay. The flat is decorated in a very comfortable and luxury taste, but all furniture and equipments are set to make you feel at home in Lisbon. The flat has a front view to the S. Bento Parliament and up hill. The flat has 2 bedrooms, a living/dining room with a sofa bed, a bathroom, an office and an equipped kitchen. It is located in Santa Catarina.

About Lisbon Old Town

Santa Catarina is a very peacefull and quite area, part of the Bairro Alto/chiado XVI/XVII century central districts. Santa Catarina is formed by a group of calm side streets that grow donw the Santa Catarina garden. In the opposite side is the Convento de Jesus monument, S. Bento Parliament, and Principe Real district. Up the district is the area of Bairro Alto/Chiado with famous restaurants and fashion, music and design shops, the Museum of Modern Art, the school of Fine Arts, the Music Conservatory and the National Dance School. During centuries, and even today, this area was know to be a meeting area for artists, painters poets and writers such as Fernando Pessoa, Almada Negreiros, Eça de Queiroz and others. Soon it became know as the Lisbon district of culture and arts. At same it is an area where you can find small charming gardens as the Pç. das flores garden in Principe Real, or the botanical garden in Academia das Ciências street. The Santa Catarina garden and the S. Pedro de Alcântara garden offer to amazing views over Lisbon, the first over the river and the second over the hills of Castelo district.
