Vacation Rental Description

This Lake District villa is called 3 Sycamore Barn and is a three storey converted barn conversion in the quiet hamlet of Reagill near Penrith. With spectacular views to the North Pennines and close proximity to the Lake District National Park, this property is ideal for walkers or anyone who wants a lovely rural rest. Reagill is a quiet rural farming area and there are lots of local paths and tracks which you can walk or cycle and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

The property furnished to a high level of comfort and has a modern fitted kitchen and two large seating areas. All modern conveniences are provided  and the aim of the owner is to provide a home from home. The property is laid out over three floors with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The 2nd floor lounge has a woodburner and a large supply of books.

Wood is provided free for the wood burner. A cot and high chair are available if required. Pets are welcome (max of two dogs). The property has an enclosed private garden area with seating and BBQ facilities. A the front of the property is a small balcony with seating.

About Lake District Penrith

Reagill is a rural hamlet with surrounding rolling hills and views to the North Pennines and Cross Fell (2900ft). The area is ideal for relaxing, cycling and walking. Hawsewater and Ullswater are both approx 20 mins away by car with access to High Street and Hellvellyn.

The nearest towns are Penrith (12 miles), Kendal(15) and Appleby (7 miles) where there are a seleciton of shops,pubs and eating places. The nearest local pubs/eating are about 5 miles away at Bolton (The Eden Vale) , Great Strickland(The Strickland Arms) and Shap(The Greyhound). Shap also has a small Co-op, Butchers, Newsagents and excellent Fish and Chip Shop.
