Nathon is the capital of Ko Samui and is a charming town on the northwest coast and is the major port for express and night ferries from the piers in Surat Thani. Nathon is a lovely spot for a little bit of town life. It is a charming tourist town with shops, restaurants, tour agencies and hotels are located and you can experience an authentic local village life if you stay here. Nathon’s Port always provides an interest with its constant comings and goings of fishing boats and ferries.

Situated within a few minutes drive from this Ko Samui holiday villa, are two villages (Maenam and Nathon) where you can purchase supplies needed to make your holiday complete from daily essentials (food, drink, etc.) to clothes, gifts and much more. There are many recreational facilities nearby including at 18 hole international golf course (due to open early 2003), restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.

Taxi's and 'tuk tuks' drive past the main gate frequently throughout the day and evening. A motor vehicle is essential. Motorbikes or jeeps are available for rent for only one-day or can be extended for as long as you require.
