About Koh Samui Bang Por
The Lotus Terraces is nestled on a quiet stretch of Bang Por beach, the island’s location of choice and home to the new Four Seasons Resort. Bang Por is ideally positioned to afford easy access to all that is authentically Thai and modern on the island, and yet removed enough to provide the peace, tranquility, and seclusion sought after in a home in paradise. Bang Por is located on the northwest corner of the island, between Nathon and Maenam. The beach is 4 kilometers long and faces the north with views of Koh Phangan. The waters are calm in this area of Koh Samui, with the beach very clean with palm trees lining its edge. There are shallow coral reefs nearby which provide for good snorkeling. Bang Por has a very residential feel to it and offers the peace and quiet of a real beach vacation, detached from the crowds yet close enough to drive to the main town for shopping and night life. There are a few very good seafood restaurants within walking distance from the resort right on the beach. Convenience stores are accessible by foot and the main town center of Maenam is simply a 10 minute drive away for good shopping and even a round of golf.
