Whistling Villa is a modern luxury villa located at Runaway Bay Jamaica.The villa is adjacent to the prestigious 18-hole Runaway Bay Golf Course, and close proximity to the public and private beach. There are fantastic local places to eat ,and nearby hotels, such as Breezes, Sandals, FDR, and Hedonism, all with evening activities and nightlife. Whistling Villa is just 20 minutes from the legendary Dunn’s Rivers Falls, and only 30 minutes to the new Island Village in Ocho Rios .

There are four large double air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and walk in closet,giving accommodation for eight persons. Children are always welcome, and babysitting can be arranged. Our cook / housekeeper, and gardener always provide a friendly service.

About Jamaica Runaway Bay

Located on the North Coast of Jamaica, Runaway Bay, home to Whistling Villa which is nestled between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, and is famed for having one of Jamaica's finest beaches. Runaway Bay is so named because it was once an escape route for runaway slaves. Nearby Discovery Bay was actually first visited by Christopher Columbus during his voyage in 1494, hence its name.

The first native settlers to the island of Jamaica, and the area around Runaway Bay, were the Arawaks. They put up a valiant fight to retain control but the Spanish explorers, who claimed the land for the Queen of Spain, eventually overpowered them.
