Vacation Rental Description

Perched on a hill overlooking the world famous Blue Lagoon, this 4-bedroom/four-bathroom villa has retained all the atmosphere and elegance of a private residence. Giant hundred foot trees with Tarzan like vines and philodendron leaves the size of umbrellas cascade over each deck.

The now converted private villa, bright and airy, has a superb position above the Blue Lagoon, with French doors that fling open to take advantage of the lovely sea views of Monkey Island and the open sea. The four bedrooms - each individually furnished in a contemporary Caribbean style, with some use of local arts and crafts as decoration - are split over the three floors. The dining room on the upper level opens onto a balcony (again for the views) and there is a comfortable lounge below.

Every bedroom is decorated in a different and uniquely Caribbean color and style. Two dining rooms, two decks and living room/TV room are comfortably furnished and appointed with unique artwork and carvings.

The staff at Moon San includes chef, housekeeper and bartender. Breakfast (French toast/ fresh fruit plate/ salt fish and akee /or bacon and eggs + Blue Mountain coffee) is included in rates.

As a guest at Moon San, you and your family will have complimentary use of the African Star, our glass bottom boat. We use the boat as a water taxi and it can take you to San San Beach, Frenchman's Cove, Monkey Island and the Blue Lagoon at no charge.

About Jamaica Port Antonio

Just 300 ft. from the villa is the entrance to the Blue Lagoon. The lagoon is both fresh and salt water, and water temperatures are warm and cold, which makes swimming a whole new experience. On some days you might be the only couple. Three other white sand beaches are nearby.

Moon San Villa offers the perfect blend of peace and tranquility, while enjoying the magnificent natural beauty of the Port Antonio area. Many of the special services offered are private photography tours, in-room massage, beach and mountain horseback riding and private waterfall tours.

The Kingston airport is on an island/inlet. When you leave the airport you will drive about 2 miles to get off the island. When you come to a roundabout go right. This is the same road the Moon San is on. Take your time. 2 1/2 hour drive. You might get lost in some of the small towns. Just ask the way to Port Antonio. Moon San is 7 miles before Port Antonio. Just ask for the Blue Lagoon. Moon San sign on main road and the Blue Lagoon road.
