Vacation Rental Description

In the flat there is satellite tv,internet adsl wireless connection ,fully equipped kitchen with microwave electric stove ,fridge ,washing machine dvd player and hi-fi. The bedsheets and the towels are included as well as the cleanings. I live in the same building on the top floor and I can be of help especially if this is the first time you are coming to Istanbul.

About Istanbul Taksim

The buiding is situated in the boehemienne old city centre of Pera with its art galleries and small bars and restaurants .We are at 150 m from Istiklal caddesi the main shopping and pedestrial mall of Istanbul and 400 m from Taksim close to the old european embassies: Palais of France , Palazzo di Venezia , the old Dutch and Russian Embassy.You can breathe also the smells and the sounds of the old Fransiz Sokak (French Street ) which is nearby.

There are a lot of small shops around where you can buy groceries and fruit and all you may need at home ...just as you were one of the locals living here since a lot of time. You can really participate the local life living in the heart of the old city as if you were living in a small village .This was the old Beyoglu once upon a time and this is the modern one still retaining the fascination that drove here a lot of travellers from the old Europe .

There are still a lot of gypsies living in the area along with modern shops and bars and restaurant. In this area you may eat until late in the night from turkish food to european and have a turkish breakfast in the morning. There is a tramway stop at about 200 m from the house leading to Sultanahmet (the area with Agia Sofia, the Blue mosque and the Grand Bazaar) and a taxi stop just in front of the house. I f you like Ican also arrange the airport pick-up from the Ataturk Intl. Airport for 40 euro (one way) .
