Istanbul Firuze Apartment is a 135 m2 Luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (with additional ensuite shower), 2nd floor apartment within an impressive and prominent 19th century registered historic building on the famous Galipdede St, close to Galata Tower, Istiklal Street and Tünel Square. It can accommodate up to 8 guests (6 in beds). The huge roof terrace of the building has magnificent views of the old city, where both the sunrise over the Bosphorus and sunset over the Golden Horn can be enjoyed.

Istanbul Firuze apartment is equipped with every modern day amenity including fully equipped kitchen, Jacuzzi bathtub, steam sauna, flat screen TV with satellite channels, central music system with DVD/CD player, high speed wireless internet, linenes and towels, bath robes, hairdryer, iron, cleaning and welcome package included in the rates. Complimentary Airport pick up for guests staying 7 nights or longer.

Istanbul Firuze Apartment is a luxuriously renovated 3 bedroom holiday apartment with 2 full bathrooms plus an en-suite steam sauna/shower in the master bedroom. The apartment is very cosy and feels very homely. The spacious apartment is enhanced by a high ceiling with air conditioning and gas fired central heating throughout. The wonderful roof terrace has magnificent views of the city, Golden Horn and the Bosphorus. Bedroom 1 (The Harem) is very spacious with 2 air conditioning units and wall mounted speakers. It has super King size (180X200) 4 poster bed and beautiful Turkish rugs giving it a feeling of being back in time in an Ottoman Sultan's Harem. Yet it has a modern en suite multi-jet shower and steam enclosure. The steam/shower has built in radio and is connected to the central music system. Bedroom 2 is spacious with King size bed (160X200).Bedroom 3 is medium size providing ample space for 2 large single beds. All bedrooms are bright with large double glazed windows including large wardrobe, dressing tables, chest of drawers and bedside tables and lamps.

The wall mounted speakers in each room have individual dimmer switches and volume control and are connected to the central music system. There is an additional sofa bed and a single mattress available. Bathroom 1 has an Italian corner bath with Jacuzzi and Grohe rain shower, wall mounted speaker connected to the central music system, chrome bath and washbasin fittings with Grohe mixer tap and WC. Bathroom 2 - Grohe shower, washbasin and WC. Additional en suite multi-jet shower with steam is provided in bedroom 1. Living room is beautifully furnished and has a small balcony and windows, which have wonderful view of the Galipdede Street and can see the historic tram as it comes into Tunnel Square at the southern end of Istiklal St. There is a 32" flat screen TV with satellite channels, and a DVD/CD player connected to the central music system. There is a cosy dining area adjacent to the living room and the kitchen. Large beautiful kitchen with granite worktop and breakfast bar. It is fully equipped with the latest high end Bosch appliances including built-in barbecue, 4 burner gas hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large freestanding fridge/freezer. The kitchen is also equipped with electric kettle, traditional Turkish kettle and tea pot, cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Laundry room with Bosch washing machine, cloth drier (airer). The huge roof terrace is communal (Although it is hardly used by other occupiers). Tables and chairs are provided for guests to enjoy the magnificent views of Istanbul. The view at sunset is highly recommended.

Istanbul Firuze Apartment is situated in one of the best locations in Istanbul. The apartment is located in Tunel/Galata area, in Beyoglu district on the European side of Istanbul across the Golden Horn from the old city.

The area is very safe and you can walk to many of Istanbul's best bars, nightclubs and restaurants. There are numerous food shops and stalls in the vicinity of Istanbul Firuze Apartment selling fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, meat, fish, cheese and wine. There are many charming local cafes and restaurants in and around the neighbourhood.

Most of the Istanbul attractions are within easy reach either on foot, by reliable public transport or by taxi. There are historic mosques, churches and synagogues nearby. Galata Mevlevihanesi, Which houses the Museum of Divan Literature and a collection of musical instruments is only a few steps away from Istanbul Firuze Apartment. Galata Tower is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Tünel neighbourhood, one of the most bohemian quarters of Istanbul is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. In the streets of Asmalimescit you will find plenty of alternatives for dining. Even in winter you see people sitting in the narrow, cosy streets of Asmali having their lunch. Istiklal Street 50 metres from Istanbul Firuze Apartment has numerous cafés, boutiques, bookshops, galleries, theatres and cinemas tucked into 19th century European-built mansions.

Taksim Square is 20 minutes walk away or you can hop on the historic tram from Tünel Square.10 minutes walk down the hill from the apartment will take you to Karaköy port on the Golden Horn (or you can take the historic train from Tünel). From here you can take the Tramway or walk across the Galata Bridge to Eminönü, where the wonderful Egyptian market is located. In the many passages and narrow streets behind and around the Egyptian market you will find numerous shops selling household goods, watches and clothes at bargain prices. From Karaköy it will only take a few minutes by Tram to reach the Sultanahmet area, where the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofya and the Blue Mosque are located. 5. Rates include weekly cleaning service including fresh linen and towels. More frequent housekeeping can be arranged upon request for a fee of 20€ per day.
6. A 40% deposit is required to make a confirmed reservation.
7. Guests staying 7 nights or longer receive complimentary pick-up from Ataturk Airport (25 Euro surcharge for pick-up from Sabiha Gokcen Airport).
