The Kinsky Palace was built in the mid 18th century and is the principal home for the National Gallery in Prague. Many of the fine paintings that are owned by the National Gallery are exhibited in various galleries in Prague including the fine Kinsky Palace with its Rococo facade. One of the principal treasures within the palace is a collection of fine prints and drawings and the collection is called the ‘Prints and Drawings Collection’. Other treasures within Kinsky Palace include a permanent exhibition of landscape paintings produced by a variety of Czech artists from the 17th to the 20th century.
