The Bloemenmarkt may be very popular with visitors, but it is still the staple flower supply centre of Amsterdam; this is also where locals come to get the freshest Christmas trees in December. Monday Flea Market Feast at Noordermarkt

Situated on the foregrounds of the Noorderkerk Church, the grounds used to be the church’s graveyard, but have been used as a trading market since the mid 1600s. Collectors from all over the city converge here early in the morning to get their hands on the very best of the week’s picks. From vintage clothing, antique jewellery, toys, clothes and fabrics, this is one place that can send you into bargain overdrive!

Saturday Grower’s Market on Noordermarkt
