The Palm Jumeirah is a man-made island that, from the air, looks like a palm tree. Considered by many to be the 8th Wonder of the world, the Palm Jumeirah islands are one of the most thrilling and inspiring tourist destinations in the region. Palm Jumeirah offers visitors numerous attractions including opportunities to get up close and personal with dolphins, enjoy unbelievably thrilling waterslides or discover the lost city of Atlantis by swimming through a labyrinth of underwater ruins. For some visitors to Palm Jumeirah it is the designer shopping that makes it so special. For others it is the contrast between the beauty of the environment contrasted with the excitement of the nightlife. But for most, what makes Palm Jumeirah such a wonderful place to visit is its golden beaches and magical water which is perfect for kayaking, windsurfing and for enjoying the marine life.
