An elegant holiday estate  consisting of 4 old stone buildings divided in 9 independent self catering units, fully equipped and beautifully furnished. Immersed in a huge park with swimming pool. It is immersed in untouched Umbrian countryside between Castel Rigone and Preggio dominating the valley of the river Nese, with Lake Trasimeno within easy reach.

 

About Golf Rentals Umbria

This elegant estate is situated in the countryside between  the lovely hilltop villages of Castel Rigone and Preggio dominating the valley of the river Nese, an oasis of peace and tranquility surrounded by big chestnut trees, marvelous ancient oaks, old olive trees and ponds.

It was originally a fortress dating back from the 15th c., completely destroyed by fire during a siege in the second half of the 16th century and soon after rebuilt as was the nearby village.

The recent restoration and conversion retained the original architectural features of the buildings. There are now 9 character and beautifully furnished holiday apartments on 4 buildings.

 

►In the first building there are 4 self contained holiday apartments  for a total of 12/14 sleeps:

 

• Tordo, 2+2 sleeps:  Apartment consisting of a sitting room with fully equipped kitchen corner and sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom, featuring hand decorations and a terrace that faces the valley. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 600;  in high season Euro 800.

 

•• Tortora, 2 sleeps: Apartment consisting of sitting room with kitchen corner, one bedroom with bathroom, all with antique furniture and with a view of the grounds. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 600;  in high season Euro 750.

 

••• Fagiano, 2 sleeps: The most exclusive room with a small kitchen corner furnished with hand decorations and a terrace facing the main portico. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 550;  in high season Euro 700.

 

•••• Lepre 2 sleeps: Charming apartment with independent entrance, antique furniture throughout, sitting room, kitchen corner, fireplace, a bathroom and a bedroom.  Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 600;  in high season Euro 750.

 

►In the second building there are 3 apartments for a total of 11/13 sleeps:

• Beccaccia, 2+2 sleeps: Apartment with independent entrance consisting of large sitting room with kitchen corner a bathroom and a bedroom. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 600;  in high season Euro 750.

 

•• Colombaccio, 3 sleeps : Apartment with independent entrance, airy sitting room, large fireplace, one double and one single bedroom. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 600;  in high season Euro 800.

••• Pernice, 4 sleeps: Apartment with independent entrance consisting of sitting room with kitchen corner and two bedrooms. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 700;  in high season Euro 850.

► There is a lovely detached stone house called "Casa Daino" with 2+2 sleeps  consisting of a bedroom  with 2 French beds, a bathroom on the ground floor, a kitchen and a dining room with sleeping couch, fireplace and terrace on the upper floor. This house has been completely renovated following the tradition of the country and it has a gorgeous view over the valley. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 700;  in high season Euro 900.

 

► Recently restored the detached stone house “Casa Capriolo” has 4+2 sleeps, and consists of 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large sitting room with sleeping couch, a kitchen. This unit can be combined with the adjoining one room apartment with a coking corner, a sofa bed and a bathroom with Jacuzzi. Weekly rental prices in low season Euro 800;  in high season Euro 900.
