The Garca Branca is located within a family home. It is modestly positioned as a 3 Star facility. This Goa accommodation has only three suites and each is fully contained, outfitted and furnished; it is family run and offers private, exclusive, adult-living, with easy access by private cab to beaches, cities, shopping malls, restaurants and nite-clubs, as prearranged.

The Garca Branca is focused and dedicated to provide the discerning adult guest with a classy establishment in which to spend an affordable holiday, far from the madding crowd, yet close enough to a variety of leisurely and/or hectic pursuits that are normally associated with exotic vacationing.

About Goa Ponda

Loutulim is situated on the left bank of the river Zuari, 8 kms north of the City of Margao, 4 kms south of the City of Ponda and from 4 kms to 6 kms east of the endless white sand beaches of Cansaulim, Majorda, Colva and Benaulim. The surfaces of all the main village roads are tarred and are lighted by street lamps.

Loutulim is often described as the prettiest village in Goa, with many delightfully attractive and well-preserved homes dating back to the heyday of the Portuguese empire, highlighted by Goan touches of ochre and pink. It has produced great personalities in the form of doctors, teachers, lawyers, artists, engineers, scientists, musicians, priests, politicians, missionaries etc, many of whom have emigrated to and made significant contributions in far flung countries of the Globe. English is spoken everywhere.

The very popular tourist attraction of Big Foot which houses an exhibition of Ancestral Goa in miniature, the palatial and heritage houses of “Figueiredo” and “Miranda” dating back circa 1400s, are all here and the oldest chapel in South Goa – (circa 1567) - is next door to the Garça Branca and is where the locals worship. A recent addition (2004) is the very popular Crystal Rocks Dance Floor.
