Vacation Rental Description

KC14 is set on the perimeter of the complex and has a fine view of the jungle to the rear. The Goa bungalow has a fitted solid wood/granite kitchen and is equipped with a gas hob, washing machine, fridge, microwave, steam iron, kettle, toaster and all the usual utensils. The kitchen is to
the rear of the garage space, and so overlooks the jungle.

The living area is furnished with traditional Indian wood furniture. It has a comfortable three piece suite, coffee table, flat-screen TV with cable connection and DVD/CD player, dining table and four chairs. There is a patio to the rear, with a small grassed garden, overlooking the jungle. Ceiling
fans are fitted to all rooms.

The bungalow has two double air-conditioned bedrooms, one to the front with a balcony and en-suite shower-room/wc. This bedroom has a king-size wood bed with a luxury 8" spring mattress, bedside tables and lamps, and a large lockable wardrobe with interior safe.

The other bedroom is at the rear of the property, overlooking the jungle. There are two single (36" x 78") wood beds, again with 8" luxury mattresses. Bedside tables and lamps and a lockable wardrobe with interior safe complete the room. There is another shower-room/wc next to this bedroom. Mini water heaters are fitted in both shower-rooms.

About Goa Anjuna

The bungalows are on a complex called Keshia Holiday Kottages, Anjuna, north Goa, very near to
the picturesque St Michael's Church, itself a well known local landmark. There is a 24 hour security attendance.

There are approximately 105 properties on this complex, which is nearly surrounded by jungle on three sides. Opportunities to view local wildlife are abundant. Monkeys are often seen in the trees around the site, as are peacocks and other birdlife.

Getting around

Taxis are usually found outside The Tamarind Hotel, which is adjacent to the complex. Phone numbers of friendly and reliable (English-speaking!)taxi drivers can also be provided.

Local buses stop outside The Tamarind, and go to Mapusa in one direction, (about 25-30 mins) and to Calangute the other way (also about 25 mins). Panjim is approximately a 30 min taxi ride

Beaches

As far as beaches go, you're spoilt for choice in Goa. Here's a small selection - Baga Beach (above left): very busy, and very long - it stretches all the way to Candolim. You can buy almost anything from the beach hawkers, there are many beach shacks, opportunities for dolphin trips and other boat rides. Shops and money-changing facilities are very close. About 15 minutes by taxi. Anjuna Beach (above centre and top of page): much quieter except on Wednesdays, when the Flea Market is on. A few shacks dotted up and down the beach. No more than 10 minutes by
taxi. Ashvem Beach (above right): quiet, peaceful, couple of really good shacks, small number of shops. Hardly any beach hawkers. Ideal for long walks. About 30 minutes by taxi from the complex.
