Prospect Cottage is a charming , spacious , comfortably furnished 3 bedroomed home suitable for up to 6 guests . We have been operating for 10 successful year s and offer excellent value for your money .Sip drinks on the elevated wooden deck with panoranicevies of the lagoon and the Knysna " Heads" or enjoy the view from the lounge, dining room and bedrooms. Relish the tranquil country lifestyle of Knysna with easy access to the Garden Route and Klein Karoo. . Ideally situated a 3 minute walk to central Knysna and the lagoon . Easy access to boating and water sport facilities and a short stroll from the Knysna Waterfront Complex.. Secure and hassle free.

Lounge/dining room with colour TV ( Satelite) and a VCR. Master bedroom carpeted with queen size bed . Shower and toilet en suite. 2nd Bedroom with doulble bed and 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. These 2 bedrooms overlook the lagoon. Full family bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. Toiletries supplied. Spacious kitchen with stove, oven, microwave oven. Fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine, . Wooden deck with outdoor furniture. . Linen , bedding ( duvets) and bathroom and kitchen towels provided.

The lagoon is home to the Knysna Seahorse and 200 species of fish. Whales frolic along these coastal waters from May to September. The indigenous forests form the largest closed canopy forest in S.A and is home to the Knysna Loerie and the narina trogon. Knysna is also home to the only forest elephants in S.A. The town of Knysna is surrounded by a natural paradise of lush forests, mountains and fynbos, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. A modereate climate , restaurants and activities make Knysna the perfect destination. . the lagoon is permanently open to the sea and the tides rise and fall 1.7 m floloding the lagoon through a channel between " The Heads" wich ar two great sandstone cliffs.
