A truly rare find! This comfortable family home situated directly on the waters edge of the famous Knysna Heads offers guests an opportunity to experience Knysna at it’s best. Whether you need a relaxed holiday with family or friends or seeking a breakaway from your hectic daily schedule for yourself and your partner, this may just be the tonic you need.

Step out onto your private veranda overlooking the bay. A step or two further and you will feel your toes in the sand. Enjoy the fresh, clear air and water.

At low tide guests can enjoy a short walk along the beach to the popular East Heads Café for breakfasts, lunches, coffee and cakes. Paquita’s offers a full a la carte restaurant as well as take away service. When the tide is in then these are accessible by road (500 meters)

About Garden Route Knysna

With a temperate climate almost all year round, the Heart of the Garden Route has something to offer everyone…Should it be Lazy Days, Rainy Days, Adventurous Days, Historical Days, here are some ideas of what’s to do ... Must do’s during your visit to Knysna:
Make a point of seeing the Knysna Seahorse, the most endangered of them all. Can be viewed at the Knysna Waterfront or the aquarium at the Heads.
Oysters: don’t leave without trying our succulent delicacy. Cultivated and Coastal, well known to this part of the world.
Visit one of the many weekend “Farmers” markets between Sedgefield and Plettenberg Bay where fresh local produce and “local is lekker” is the attraction.
A big must is the Friday Dinner market in Knysna.
Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train operating between George and Knysna is regrettably not operating at the moment but is operating between George and Mossel Bay.

Recommended Day Tours: Within a 30-200km radius of Knysna one can enjoy exploring the many scenic routes that the Garden Route has to offer.
A day outing to the Tsitikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth via the old road passing through Nature’s Valley and via the Bloukrans pass
Visit Oudshoorn via the Outeniqua mountains and return to Knysna on a different route via Robertson’s Pass but not before sampling a port from the Port Capital of South Africa, Calitzdorp. Lunch with Sandy at Rose of The Karoo is a MUST!
If you get started relatively early then take a drive over the Swartberg Pass, a national monument (not suited for motorbikes unless off-road), and enjoy lunch at the quaint village of Prince Albert. Return to Knysna via the Meiringspoort pass. Pit Stop at De Rust.

In order to secure a booking a minimum deposit of 50% of the total accommodation value will be required by the due date stipulated on the invoice which will be forwarded upon your request to make a booking. Non-payment on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation. Deposits will be non-refundable for non-arrival or upon cancellation, unless another booking is found for the same period.
