Pinocchio is a lovely Florence vacation apartment, full of light and located in the heart of the historical centre of Florence: San Lorenzo. Florence San Lorenzo is the area where Benvenuto Cellini and Collodi (author of Pinocchio) were born.

The apartment is on the second floor of a nice historical building, and has been completely refurbished in January 2006.

Composed of a wide entrance-living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, kitchen and a dining area with a table for four people; one bathroom and one lovely double bedroom. Big windows and high ceilings give this property plenty of light.

Florence's historic San Lorenzo quarter, between the Santa Maria Novella railway station and Piazza Duomo, is just steps away from several of the city's most important historic and artistic sites including the Duomo, the Accademia Gallery (featuring Michelangelo's David), the San Lorenzo Basilica (Florence's oldest church) and the Medici Chapels (featuring impressive works by Michelangelo).

The Basilica di San Lorenzo was designed by Brunelleschi and decorated with frescoes by Michelangelo. It is one of Florence's finest masterpieces of art and architecture. The San Lorenzo area also host to the famous San Lorenzo Market, one of the city's most colourful and characteristic attractions. At the market you can find several stalls that sell typical Tuscan and Florentine food produce and others selling flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented. Every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 50% service charge and not be liable for the 1 nights rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 4 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
