This nice and airy holiday Florence apartment is a perfect homebase for a couple or family who want to discover Florence while living in a silent downtown apartment close to all the main sights.

This Florence apartment is located on the first floor (no elevator) of a popular historic building right in front of the charming Piazza dei Ciompi with its antiques market.

The holiday accommodation has been completrely restored while still keeping the original wooden beamed ceilings and "cotto" florrings. It offers a large queen size bedroom, that can be separated from the small living/dining room by a curtain. The living room itself can sleep two more people, taking advantage of the double fold-out sofa bed.

The kitchenette is well furnished with dishwasher and washing machine. The small bathroom features a stand-up shower.

This is where the university is located and it's a wonderful vibrant area that buzzes with people. On the corner of the Piazza SS Annunziata, you'll find the busiest museum in Florence, Galleria dell’ Accademia. One of the reasons is that it's home to Michelangelo’s magnificent nude, David. Carved from a single massive lump of marble in 1504.

Close by is Piazza San Marco which is the Museo di San Marco which occupies the ex-convent of San Marco.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented. Every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 50% service charge and not be liable for the 1 nights rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 4 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
