This accommodation in Florence is a charming penthouse on the fourth floor of the Palazzo with views of Florence rooftops and landmarks. The elevator goes to the third floor and from there it's 19 wooden steps to the apartment entrance.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom comes with twin beds and an en suite bathroom with tub/shower. The second bathroom has a shower.

There is a Living/dining room with cooking area and the entire accommodation in Florence has independent heating and air conditioning.

About Florence Santa Croce

The accommodation in Florence is located in Piazza Santa Croce, a huge rectangular square that was created in front of the Franciscan Basilica in Florence. The whole Santa Croce is medieval in origin which can be clearly seen in many of the buildings surrounding the piazza. The church, Santa Croce, is the church of the Franciscans in Florence and is one of the finest examples of Italian Gothic architecture. Building started in 1294 and was eventually completed two hundred years later in 1442. Choosing holiday apartments in Santa Croce means living close to the masterpieces of Tuscan Gothic or proto-Renaissance painting: the Bardi and Peruzzi chapels' frescoes are by Giotto; the Baroncelli Chapel has frescoes by Taddeo Gaddi and a polyptych by Agnolo Gaddi, who also did the frescoes in the Castellani Chapel.

A Santa Croce accommodation is a good choice if you want to be close to the Casa Buonarroti Museum (Via Ghibellina, 70), dedicated to Michelangelo, for this was once his Florence house, and Florence's Horne Museum (Via de' Benci, 6), a private foundation created around a collection put together by the English art critic, Herbert Percy Horne.
