The Inverleith Hotel is a small hotel adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens in central Edinburgh, within the conservation area of Inverleith.This quality bed and breakfast hotel combines the historic slendour of an early Victorian Edinburgh townhouse, with modern guest accommodation in a family hotel. The hotel is well located to experience Edinburgh's attractions: Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Old Town, Holyrood Palace, Royal Yacht Brittania, and Edinburgh's wealth of museums and galleries.

The Inverleith Hotel is a family-run Victorian town house hotel with 10 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities.

Our Hotel is located by the Royal Botanic Gardens, but is also within easy reach of the city centre. There are many local restaurants that are easily accessible from the Hotel offering Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, French and of course, Scottish cuisine.

Robert Louis Stevenson the writer who once lived in Inverleith Terrace, only a few doors from the Inverleith Hotel said:
"Edinburgh, is what Paris ought to be. Its magnificent architecture shifts from the lofty buildings of its medieval Old Town, as they tumble down the spine of the Royal Mile, to the grace of the Georgian New Town. Above it all, in its towering splendour, stands the Castle.

There is a local bus service -buses 23, 27, 8 from Princes Street- on your doorstep which will take you all around Scotland's famous capital. We are 15 minutes' walk from the centre of Edinburgh, 20 minutes walk from Waverley central railway station and the bus station. The airport is a 30 minute drive away.

Enjoy the tranquil setting of Inverleith amongst the splendour of the Botanic gardens and many parks and walks; yet Princes Street and the hub of city life are only 15 minutes away.

There are many visitor attractions in Edinburgh apart from being right next door to the Botanic gardens, we are also close to the Royal Yacht Britannia, the port of Leith and Ocean Terminal. We are also ten minutes from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile which leads to Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, the Royal Scottish Museum, Historic Houses and many more.
