Limon Carnival Costa Rica

The port town of Limón celebrates the annual carnival on the 12th of October this year, centred around Día de la Raza (known as Colombus Day, and literally translated as Day of the Indigenous People).

Locals, tourists and jugglers in fancy dress pulsate to the beat of Caribbean and Latin music whilst weaving their way through the spectacular carnival floats, under a sky of fireworks. Costa Rica Travels
