Tour de France edges its way to Paris

The 2008 Tour de France is underway for this year having commenced on July 5th and this last weekend I had the pleasure to be roadside and watch part of the St.Malo to Nantes leg of the race.

After a couple of tough years for the tour the Tour de France continues to be popular and several riders are in the hunt for the yellow jacket. Last I checked Thor Hushovd and Kim Kirchen were leading the individual stage times.

The tour continues through to the 27th July in Paris at the Champs Elysées. If you have never been at the Champs Elysées on the last day of the Tour de France it is worthwhile popping along this year. Its always a great atmosphere and lively scene.
