Bed & Breakfast Description

I am sure that you have already dreamed about holidays on a desert island. And you were thinking about  trasparent clean water, billions of stars on the sky, silent of waves, far away from everyday rush, common rules and same people.
What I am sure you didn't think is that such paradise is not far away, but just few hours from you. I am not talking about oceans but about Croatian Adriatic where you will find island Mrcara.
In Croatian sea there are lot of uninhabitent islands but only a few offer tourist accomodation, one of them is desert island Mrcara.

Don't miss such oportunity spending unusual holidays on this uninhabited private island (ca 17o ha), 2 Nm far from bigger island Lastovo, surrounded with several smaller islets with which it makes  safe and  beautiful bay. The accommodation in offered in3 simple wooden cottages ( each for 4 persons,shower,toilette), and in 4-bed, 3-bed and 2-bed rooms (with shower and toilette) in a stone house. Accommodation on uninhabited island Mrcara is limitted up to 30 persons on the whole island.



About Croatia Other

Mrcara is about 3 km long and wide between 0,5-1,5 km. The highest peak is 123 m high.
It is heavily wooded with about 3.000 wild olive trees (mastrinka), pine trees, different Mediterranean bushes and plants, different herbs; there are some parts of the island which are impracticable.
Wild nature is rich filled with own life; goats, muflons, some rabbits, different birds and dominate seagals, several types of female lizards, and besides them black female lizard which lives only on 3 Croatian uninhabited islands ( Jabuka, Palagruza and Mrcara).
Rich life exist also in the submarine world: different fish, crabs, lobsters, shells, algas, gel-fish, sea-urhins...
There is a cave bellow one of the south peaks where you can come  with marked footway, about 30 ha of a field in the center of the island, two small pebble beaches, about 2 km of very good footways, harbor with pier, polivalent court...

 

You can visit the other desert islands in the near by renting a boat; even you can swim to the nearest islands which are within the distance 130 - 400 m.

Notes on Prices

  1. Prices from 15-06 untill 15-09 for 2bed-room36€ per night, 3bed-room54€, 4bed room72€per night, 75€ for wooden cottage + 25€ for the breakfast and dinner each person + turist fee 1€per night per person. It means that coast is about 45€ each person. Half-board day in low season costs about 35€.
