Vacation Rental Description

This first floor apt. benefits from having the best location in Antibes for experiencing the full flavour of the Old Town, it`s on Cours Massena in the heart of the Old Town. In the mornings, walk the 30 steps to the closest boulangerie while your partner puts the coffee on and sets the table on the balcony to have an unbeatable breakfast overlooking the ` Marche Provencal`, the famous daily market.
The apartment benefits from being double aspect, so is light and airy throughout, unusual in the old town. The very large bedroom has full length fitted wardrobes, a ceiling fan and overlooks a very quiet pedestrian street. There is also an air-conditioning unit. The bathroom has bath and shower, there is a separate WC. A comfortable sofa also turns into a double bed in the living area.

There is satellite TV, DVD with a selection of movies. A compact radio/stereo, and Wifi.

 It`s a couple of hundred meters to the beach, a lovely stroll past cafes and restaurants, and through the arch of the `ramparts`, and past some of the `smaller` yachts of the marina.

PLEASE NOTE: there is a 50 euro cleaning/laundry fee payable in cash on departure.

About Cote d'Azur Antibes

Antibes is known for its yacht marina, the largest in Europe, with its International Quay, which is home to some of the biggest `Megayachts` in the World, its Provencal market, Picasso museum and medieval Ramparts.
It has its own sheltered, sandy beach, and is within walking distance to several others.
The Provencal fresh produce market runs every day in the summer and is not to be missed. In the evenings it turns into an outdoor restaurant scene, sharing the space with local artists` stalls. Just behind the market is Antibes`s Cathedral, the setting for outdoor concerts in the summer months.
The Old Town is full of lovely cobbled shopping streets, pavement cafes and countless restaurants to choose from.
Thursdays is market day in the Old Town with thousands of stalls spread all over, selling anything from bikinis to carpets. On Saturdays, Place National is the setting for an Antiques market.
Nearby Juan-les-Pins is a major holiday destination, with a casino and nightclubs.

Notes on Apartment Prices

1. A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment to be made by bank transfer in euros, note that this could incur a charge, to be met by sender. Towels and linens are provided. There is an obligatory final cleaning and laundry fee of 50 euros payable on departure
2. On arrival you will be met at the apartment, and given two sets of keys. The security and key deposit of 300 euros(or equivalent in pounds) will be collected in cash at this time, to be returned on departure less any breakages or losses. Please note that check ins after 10pm. can not be facilitated
3. The fantastic situation of this apartment and the pleasure of watching the world go by from the balcony will make your holiday a special one
