This holiday apartment is located in Cagnes sur mer, very close to lovely Antibes. Beautiful, evocative Antibes has been the coveted Cote d'Azur resort since the mid-19th century when Marlene Dietrich, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton made it their Southern French playground. Wealthy Europeans flocked here, building beautiful mansions in the lush hills behind the 48 pristine beaches that Antibes boasts.

Located in the rolling green hills above Cote d' Azur, Cagnes sur mer (10km from Antibes) was the final retreat of Renoir, who moved to a benign Mediterranean climate to try and cure his arthritis. Much of what Renoir’s encountered remains particularly around the fishing quarter of Cros. Other places of interest include places of interest include Renoir’s old estate, Les Collettes and the medieval castle.
