Vacation Rental Description

Casa Marta is a 18th-century fully restored stone villa rental in Tuscany with three floors spanning roughly 325 square feet each. It is located in the village of Pascoso (district of Pescaglia,province of Lucca,Tuscany) in the Apuane Park.

In short, this Tuscany villa is made up:1 large kitchen/living with wood fireplace + 2 bedrooms + 1 full bathroom (shower) + 1 powder room (wc,bidet and wash-basin)+ 1 laundry + 1 pantry. The house is fully furnished with all new or antique pieces (Tuscan pieces from the 19th century). We have not yet installed a telephone, but computer and internet access are available at our main office (no more than 10 meters far). A central heating system has also been installed. And naturally a working fireplace adorns the kitchen/living.

About Cooking Holidays Lucca

This Tuscany villa rental is in Pascoso which is an ideal stay for nature lover's. However it is not far from the "cities of arts" of Tuscany (Lucca, Pisa, Florence,Siena etc are at no more that 45-90 minutes of driving). Furthermore Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, which are among the most famous Italian beaches) are no more than 30 miles far.

Furthermore, the house is situated under an hours drive from many of Italy’s finest and most picturesque golf courses, such as Golf Alisea - 32km -30 mins (5 holes promotional golf course), Montecatini Golf Club - 37 km -35 mins (18 hole golf course of natural beauty that has been built in the hilly countryside.Golfers are faced with many natural hazards such as lakes, streams, forests, and ditches which are all formed from the natural contours of the land), Club Golf Montelupo - 40 km -40 mins,  Tirrenia Golf Club (9 hole), Cosmopolitan Golf & Country Club (18 hole) and Golf Club Fontevivo (18 hole).

Pascoso's finest asset, and the most important reason to travel there, is the nature in which it is literally immersed. It is really a hiker's paradise! Many of the old mule paths are suitable for mountain biking and horses, which you can rent in Pascoso. For some hikes you might want to drive a few short minutes to your point of departure,whereas for others you can leave directly on foot from your front door. As you can imagine the only sounds you'll hear in Pascoso are dogs barking and townsfolk chatting ! Quiet reigns through the mountainside. The area is ideal for hiking, horseback riding (there are two barns where you can rent horses), and mountain biking.

In Pascoso there is also a general store and two restaurants.
