Attractive double apartment in a Central London suburb, 5/10 minutes walk to Forest Hill train station which is within easy reach to London Bridge and Waterloo.

Trendy Forest Hill High Street is a 5 minute walk and you will be spoilt for choice for its renowned bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Take a leisurely stroll to the nearby very green Crystal Palace Park where there are always various activities from fishing to funfair's.

Fantastic leisure centre (Virgin Active) with swimming and sauna facilities are available within 1 mile. Great supermarkets as well as organic food stores are within a 5 minutes walk. Several boutiques, a nearby movie theatre and beauty salons are on the high street for a pampering treat.

If it had stayed rural the area would doubtless be termed rolling, and many echoes linger from its pre-urban life in a pleasing array of differing open spaces. Small wonder it has never had a poor reputation since it was dragged reluctantly from its wooded origins.

Forest Hill and Honor Oak possess two very different centres. The former has a well-defined urban heart in the great T-junction of London Road, Dartmouth Road and Devonshire Road (A205 and A2216) by the train station. If Honour Oak has a centre then it is the misleading One Tree Hill, thickly wooded and around which the settlement wraps itself.
