Location is excellent. Apartment was clean. I had stayed at this apartment four years ago and found that it is not up to the quality of the first time around. I try not to be too "picky" but there were several things that bothered me. The gas oven did not work we were told be the representative. There was no toaster or hair dryer as we had before. The shower had mildew in the bottom. I made a note and left it so that the owner would be aware. Also, I knew beforehand that there were two sets of steps...one with 12 and one with 15; so be aware if you have a problem climbing and carrying up luggage. Overall, we had a nice stay but for the fee charged, I would have expected a little more.

Review:
The Cherubim apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent. Its closeness to the market in the Campo di Fiori was ideal; having the fresh food market within metres added to our trip. The apartment itself was very well equipped and, apart from an uncomfortable couch, extremely comfortable. The owner of the apartment was delightful, helpful and met us upon our arrival. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would highly recommend it due to its location and features.

Our family enjoyed our nine day stay immensely. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to many wonders in Rome. The bus was nearby, too. The flat was clean, lovely and very comfortable.

Excellent apartment in an ideal location for sight seeing. The organisation of the holiday (bookings, transfers etc.) was faultless. This lot know what they're doing. Thoroughly recommended.

The property was as described in the listing. We were a party of 4 and had plenty of room. Facilities in the appartment were great. The location was perfect as all the tourist sites were in easy walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, but there was no noise from them. I would stay there again.

The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. We really liked the location and the landlord/hostess was very helpful and gracious. We would have prefered 2 queen size beds a opposed to one room with twins, but overall a great value!

Review:
Dear James, Just wanted to thank you for recommending Cherubim Apartment in Rome. We had a fabulous stay and the apartment was even better than I expected. The location was fantastic - handy to restaurants, shops, bars and just a great location for getting around Rome to all the various tourist attractions. At the same time it was very quiet and at the end of a busy day you could return to the apartment and really relax. The apartment was very clean, very well appointed and very spacious. The air conditioning was a another great bonus as we had some very warm days while we were in Rome. The owners Lara and Alberto have a information book for guests to help them understand the area of Campo del Fiori and also how to use the local buses (which are just minutes walk away) to get easily around the city - this was a fantastic help. It is very obvious the Lara and Alberto really care about their apartment and their guests and have gone to a great effort to make sure your stay in Rome is enjoyable. When it comes to deciding where to stay in Rome for comfort, convenience, great location and a truly Roman experience - Cherubim ticks all the boxes!

The apartment met all of our needs. Great location, very clean and well furnished. The only negative was that the beds are VERY hard. I would also like to say that James did a wonderful job with all of our transportation needs. Thanks again.

Laura, the owner did not get our message about arrival right away so we were standing in the Costanza restaurant for a little bit. We did not have an international phone but the waiters called Laura for us!! They were so sweet our entire visit and we ate there a few times-the food and service were terrific. The apartment was more charming than the pictures depicted. Spacious, clean and quiet. When we could not sleep at first, we lounged on the couch watching "The Sopranos!"It was fun to get our groceries at the nearby bakeries (That bakery around the corner is unbeleivable) and the Campo market. 20 minutes to the Parthenon, 20 minutes to heart of Trastevere and 2 minutes to Campo. I would recommend this for a family or 2 couples.

Comfortable apartment in a wonderful position for market, shopping and for walking to all the popular sites. Owner very helpful. Soundproofing between bedrooms poor which could be a problem for some. We had a wonderful stay.

Location, location, location. It doesn’t get any better than this. This apartment is perfectly located in the center of Rome where you can walk to any of Rome’s historical sites in 25 minutes or less. Fantastic restaurants, pizzerias, bakeries, coffee shops and salumi shops are only a few minutes walk. If you want to eat something really special, try the restaurant ‘Costanza’ downstairs. You can buy fresh produce and other items from vendors in Campo dei Fiori’s open air market which is two quick left turns from the apartment. The apartment is located in a 15th century building which was recently restored and is very modern in every way. Not only is this apartment perfectly located, it is also very quiet considering all of the activity that surrounds you. And as for security, it is very secure. You will need to pass through three heavy dead bolted doors in order to gain access to the apartment. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone, in fact, I already have. Laura and Alberto are wonderful hosts and will help you get situated when you arrive. I can’t wait to return.

This apartment is in a super location, within walking distance of all the major attractions. There are restaurants in the immediate vicinity as is the lovely food market. Supermarkets are 5 mins walk away and there are inexpensive shopping opportunities very nearby. A spacious and well equipt apartment, we hugely enjoyed our week in this stunning city.

Review:
Apartment was very comfortable with plenty of space. It is very well furnished and had everything we needed, including some local info and plenty of guide books. Location is excellent, a block or two from the Campo D'Fiori, near Piazza Navona, and easy to get to transportation. Also near some excellent gelato places. We had a small problem with the hot water, owner was incredibly responsive and helpful even early on a Sunday morning. There is a restaurant on the ground floor but it was closed while we were there, not sure if that would have made any difference in how nice and quiet the apartment was.

The apartment is in the perfect location in Rome. There was no problem walking to any of the attractions. Spanish Steps was the furtherest. The apt. is right on Campi di Fora which has the greatest market everyday and a great place to sit out at night. Apt is large and comfortable.

We stayed in "Cherubim", a wonderful location at "Piazza Dei Paradiso" in "Campo de Fiori" area of Rome for four nights in the first week of January 2008. The apartment is centrally located and close to ancient Roman landmarks, local sights, and modern Rome. It is a historic location (we found that out later) with a daily farmer's market in the square where one can buy almost anything to drink and eat. The apartment is artistically decorated and has wonderful facilities, including spacious kitchen, dining area and two bedrooms with attached baths. It was evident that the apartment owner took pride in the amenities provided with a personal touch in the guidebook provided for visitors to follow. We rate this apartment as good as a 5-star hotel. If we visit Rome again, this is where we would like to stay!

Accomodation was excellent a home away from home. The location was perfect as we could walk to all of the attractions - the Vatican was the furthest at only 15 mins! The apartment has a history of its own as it is built on the original site of the theatre of Pompei which is were Julius Ceasar was assasinated. I will recommend this apartment to my friends.

We stayed at Cherubim in August. It was a wonderful apartment, 2 bedrooms, loads of storage and 2 fabulous en-suite bathrooms. The Air con was effective and great when the kids were cooling down in front of the satellite TV in the afternoon. The owners info pack was useful, we would never have found the supermarket tucked away in street just off Campo di Fiori otherwise! The location was perfect 2 mins on foot, to Campo di Fiori and 5 to Piazza Navona. Think we used the bus twice which can be picked up on Via del Corso a minute away. Thanks for a memorable and wonderful 40th Birthday!

Review:
We spent a marvellous week in Rome staying at the apartment "Cherubim". On arrival at the apartment we were greeted by the charming owners Alberto and Laura who gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment and its excellemt facilities. The apartment itself is just around the corner from the bustling Campo dei Fiori so if you don't wish to walk too far for your lunch or dinner, you don't have to! The historic centre is only about 20-25 minutes walk away, but there is a regular choice of buses along the nearby Corso Victor Emmanuel as an alternative to walking. The restaurants of Trastevere are also only about 15 minutes walk away. The apartment itself is excellent and if you are thinking of booking it you can rely on the description given on the website. We also pre-booked taxis to and from the airport. We were duly greeted by our driver with our nameboard at Ciampino and the driver on the return trip was prompt (arrived 10 minutes early) and friendly. The whole process of booking through Holiday Velvet was a joy ; every single response was prompt and efficient. A big thank you to James. We will not hesitate to use the company again for future bookings and can thoroughly recommend apartment "Cherubim" to anyone planning a visit to Rome. There are two comfortable bedrooms with ample wardrobe space and a large sofa bed in the living/dining room. The place has been recently renovated so does not have the "tired" look that you find at some places.

Just getting out of the taxi I could tell this was a GREAT location to be in. We loved the unit. Great size, perfect set up, was good to have two bathrooms, beautifuly decorated. Really felt at home there ........ so much so we even stayed in a couple of nights. The owner even let us have a (very) late checkout. I can not fault this property at all, I would recommened this apartment to anyone wanting to experience Roma and it's local people. Right on your doorstep every morning was a fabulous fruit, vege and flower market and at night the piazza turned into endless bars and restaurants. I will return.

Just a note to let you know we had a fabulous stay in Rome at the Cherubim apartment. I appreciate your suggestion of it. The Campo de Fiori area was indeed wonderful. We loved the shops, restaurants, and proximity to everything. Laura met us and was very gracious. The apt. was beautiful....more than we expected. Gino had a driver at the train station to meet us and he met us promptly at 6 am for the trip to the airport. All in all, it was great and I will surely recommend Holiday Velvet and especially this apt to any family and friends wishing such accomodations. Again, thanks for all your help in making our trip memorable!
