The location is excellent for getting to all the main sights but it is in the heart of the Nightlife zone and was very noisy until 3 am in the morning.

The pick up at the airport and train station was prompt. It was so wonderful that you offered us this service. As soon as we picked up our luggage the driver was waiting for us and assisted us with our suitcases. In addition, the apartment was centrally located. It was a 2 minute walk from Piazza Navona and many other attractions. There were many cafes around the apartment. We were never bored!! Thank you for an awesome vacation!! I would definitely use Holiday - Velvet for our further travels in the near future.

Review:
The apartment was just a couple blocks from the Piazza Navone and within easy walking distance to the Vatican. Also there were many great outdoor cafes and restaurants all around. The apartment was very clean with two very comfortable beds. The host couldn't have been nicer and was very easy to deal with. We were orginally booked in a different apartment and while I did not appreciate the last minute switch I think this apartment's location was better than the original.

Apartment in excellent location, bit disappointed with kitchen equipment - limited when you want to self cater, and cleanliness of kitchen was borderline, overall we enjoyed our stay immensely, but small improvements eg cheap and cheerful unchipped dinnerset and wine glasses would be worthwhile investment.

We had a lovely time. The location is fabulous, very close to piazza Navona and in the middle of everything, with very solid windows so the apt. was quiet which we really appreciated. Clean and comfortable.

Everyting was just fantastic, and in a prime location. I was advised by a friend to check out Holiday Velvet, and to stay in the vicinity of Piazza Navona and am truly happy we decided on both. The landlord was very friendly, and the flat, though petite, had every amenity we needed, and as it really was just a place to sleep, due to Rome having so many sights to see, it more than suited our needs. The price was a bit on the dear side, but, as we were advised by the taxi driver taking us to the airport at the end of our stay, the property prices in Rome are quite high, so I expect it turns out that it was quite reasonable. I would definately consider both using holiday velvet for my next trip to Rome, and elsewhere, and certainly, when returning to Rome, I shall again enquire about staying af Fico. As the flat is very centrally located, there are shops to suit every need, for fashion and souvenirs as well as food shopping, There is an abundance of restaurants just around the corner, but try not to go too near Piazza Navona, as the prices go up, and the quality down, If staying at Fico, an absolute must is Da Francesco, as people queue outside in the evening to get a seat, the lasagne is the best I've ever had, and the man I believe to be the owner, is an experience beyond belief, he reminded me most of all of Manuel, the spanish waiter in Fawlty Towers. Several of Romes prime must see highlights are within walking distance of this location, so there is little or no need for buses, or taxis whilst staying there.
